A - Buyers want to “think about it”: Procrastinating home buyer?
The reason people want to “think about it” ranges from classic procrastination to some uncertainty they have (financing, location, space, etc.). Tell the buyers you understand how they feel, that buying a home is an "exciting" time. Ask them if they have any questions. Possibly they'll express their concerns. Or not.
Now, plant the seed:Then just a few seconds after you part, catch their attention with this as an afterthought, “I noticed how you were so at-home here. Since you really seemed to like our home, do you want me to call you if someone else makes an offer?” The thought of losing your home to another buyer or of a potential bidding war will start sinking in. If they really liked your home, then the fact that they'd be paying more or losing your home altogether means that there's an excellent chance that you'll hear back from them soon.
