C - Open House Promotion: What's a smart, expense-free promo?

Put out your open house sign the same time a real estate agent is holding one for a house that's in the neighborhood where the two houses are somewhat similar in value. You'll get the benefit of their promotion and advertising expense.

Strategically place directional arrow signs that will lead prospective buyers from the other open house(s) to yours. Do this after the other open houses have started so as not to interfere with their signage.

Buyers will now have the opportunity to make a comparison between the advertised home and yours. 

Plan on leaving your Sunday afternoons open should this opportunity present itself.

                      DON’T WANT TO HOLD AN OPEN HOUSE?

You don’t have to miss out on the Sunday prospects. Place directional-arrow signs in key areas on the weekends. Although you aren’t having an open house, buyers will be directed to your home. Your curb appeal and well-stocked info-box should generate inquiries–whether you’re by-owner or listed.
