Selling issues

B - Resell Your Home: Why should you be prepared to resell your it?

Because it ain't over 'til it's over.

Be forewarned that just because some buyers come back for a forth or a fifth showing, it doesn’t mean that they must love your home. Some people can’t make a decision. Agents just hate to have buyers who do this because experience shows that these procrastinators usually wind up not making an offer.
After you come to a contractual agreement, no matter how many times the buyers viewed your property, your house has to be “resold” several more times before you can close. You’ll sell them again when the buyers plead to come back to measure for carpeting or to show the children, the parents, their decorator, etc.

You’ll find yourself selling it again to the home inspector, making it look great for the appraiser and do what you can at the buyers’ walk-through. It doesn’t make any difference if you’re selling by-owner or listed, be prepared for this agonizing and highly important reselling routine.

And your home has to look nice every time. It’s during this period that you vow never to move again.
